Yay. Only tomorrow and half of Wednesday and then I go on Winter Break. That's just the school district's way of saying "We don't want to get sued by Jews, Wiccans, Hindus, Muslims, Pagans, Atheists, Agnostics, or any tribal god worshipping congregation for calling it Christmas Break". Personally I think we are going too far with this. That doesn't mean I think that only Christianity is the way to go (to Heaven or otherwise). It just means we are making too big a deal out of someone's beliefs. You are hearing a liberal Presbyterian's view on this it does not necessarily reflect all Presbyterians views and it was not intended to upset anyone. I still have learned that Jesus wasn't born on December 25 and many churches agree with this. We are too impersonal when we say "Happy Holidays." at department stores, I mean if I were Jewish i wouldn't mind people saying Merry Christmas to me just be like "They're just trying to please the most people." and move on and not get in a huff and be all over JCPenny or Sears or whatever store said that to me. So I think it's a little too far to get rid of Merry Christmas.
Anyways no H*R Decemberween 'toon yet. Oh well, guess they're not doing one this year (If you know the Chapmans tell them to get off their duffs and make a Decemberween cartoon already.)
With no offense, Merry Christmas from me to you
