Vice Presidents
With the Olympics drawing to a close, one question is on America's mind. Who will Barack Obama and John McCain choose as their vice presidential candidates? It isn't clear exactly but Barack needs to announce his choice by Monday when the Democratic Convetion begins in Denver. McCain has slightly longer, until September 3, when the RNC begins in St. Paul. Some possible Democratic VPs are Joe Biden and Al Gore. It seems more likely that Obama will choose Biden as his running mate, but nothing is yet official. Republican possibilities include Joseph Lieberman, that's right that Joe Lieberman, the one who ran with Gore in 2000 and won the vice presidency. Whose side is he on? He seems to have no designation of the reality that most Independents from Connecticut usually side with the Democratic candidate. CONNECTICUT READERS! URGENT MESSAGE! Vote out the only member of Congress that the right-wing talk show hosts could really call a "flip-flopper"!
